Today is the day! Today you start your gym routine, eat nothing but healthy goodness and probably swear to never drink again. However, if you had a blast last night, you are probably nursing that NYE hangover, lying on the couch and watching TV.
Don’t worry- me, too.
In fact I’m about to boil some gluten free noodles, heat up some red sauce and call it a day.
Today, instead of sleeping the day away, I was hoping to get my “goals” written down for this year. Some call them resolutions, however resolutions never stick and start to dwindle after January. I did this last year where I set yearly goals and monthly goals, which, believe it or not, work a whole lot better than the pressure of making resolutions.
I for one love New Years Eve. It’s so cliché and most agree it’s just another evening, but I love its meaning of new beginnings, hope and excitement of what is yet to come. I left 2014 feeling happy, a step more successful than when the year began and with so much thought of everything I want to conquer in 2015. 2014 was a glorious year. I met some amazing people, traveled, drank really good wine, became a published writer, worked towards my true dream of becoming a working actress and moved into an amazing condo by the beach with my other half. Although there were some pitfalls and sad times during this year, one being that I lost one of the most amazing women in my life, my Grandma, I still feel hope and strength for the future.
On to the first goal of 2015: Updating my blog.
Let me introduce you to my new and improved blog site. Thanks to my good friend Angela, I was able to update my outdated blog and customize it to represent me. I took quite the break from blogging these past few months, and, well, that sucked. I love updating my blog and keeping in touch with my readers, so hopefully you guys will be able to enjoy The (NEW) Naked Bohemian as much as I do.
My writings will feature wellness, beauty, fashion and the occasional adventure as I embark on new travels (hopefully around the world). I will also be launching a store for my fashion section where I become your personal shopper, giving you a dose of my style and fashion finds (more on that later).
So back to those “goals”.
I’ve already hit one by posting this blog post.
Here’s a little inspiration for your goal setting for this New Year. I found an article on Time.com that’s written by this witty writer Ted Spiker. Basically, we see eye to eye on this topic.
Here’s some more inspo for your 2015!
